This common childhood virus that has left dark marks and deep pitted scars on my face a month ago is something that I would talk about endlessly. Because it just didn’t gave me a restless time to think & research about products that would heal the scars faster, but it really intensifies my pre-existing anxiety. Not to mention that it has also dragged my self-confidence to the lowest. I know I had to something about it immediately.
Chickenpox scars, especially the deep sunken ones, are honestly difficult to fade. But there are derma treatments that can minimize the appearance of these marks. This treatment can be costly but they are one of the most effective. Although, what works for one person might not work for another. Still, I guess there’s nothing wrong in considering this treatment if you’re like me who’s desperately wanting to have a clear skin again. The treatment I’m talking about is Microneedling.
It has been over a month now since I had a chickenpox viral infection. It was a severe case and for adults like me, it can lead to death because of possible complications. Thank God, it wasn’t that crucial. But every time I look into the mirror, the scars are reminders of how terrible the infection was–that it has almost drowned me into the depth of depression.
Sounds like I’m over exaggerating this but it was seriously the worst days of my life and until now, I feel like I am still living on that moment because I really never expected for this to happen. And I don’t know when will I ever get over it.
From the moment that we enter the island of Siargao and as we are traveling to General Luna– where lies the heart of the island, you can already see a lot of ads posted everywhere about island tour packages and most people there says that it’s all pretty much the same. The only difference though is I think, the convenience of the boat rental and probably the lunch to be served.
Summer 2019 is very generous to me! A month after my Negros Experience, I went to another summer trip in Siargao and yehey, this time, I finally brought a sunblock with me. I feel like that was such an achievement ’cause I always tend to forget about it when I go to the beach. LOL!
For so many years that I have been going to the beach, I don’t pay so much attention to my skin. Yes I know how important sunblock is, but that’s it. I just know that it’s important but I really never took it seriously. Like, if I forget about it, it isn’t that big deal to me and I was so dumb to realize that I was so wrong in so many levels.
