The castle-like Simala church is proudly nestled on the Marian Hillls in Ligondon Sibonga, Cebu. From the moment that we enter the island of Siargao and as we are traveling to General Luna– where lies the heart of the island, you can already see a lot of ads posted everywhere about island tour packages and most people there says that it’s all pretty much the same. The only difference though is I think, the convenience of the boat rental and probably the lunch to be served.
On that same day, after basking under the sun of a huge white sandbar in Carbin Reef, the island hopping continued and ended on the forest beach of Suyac Mangrove Eco Park. It’s just a 10-minute boat ride from the Carbin Reef to the island of Suyac, still situated in Sagay, Negros Occidental.
Sooo, I finally got the chance to take a breather and the province of Negros Occidental is the first place that I was able to visit. Thank God, it’s already summer. Although this was just a side trip, the experience was unbelievably amazing. I wasn’t expecting this trip at all, but I’m sooo happy that I did experience it.
