From the moment that we enter the island of Siargao and as we are traveling to General Luna– where lies the heart of the island, you can already see a lot of ads posted everywhere about island tour packages and most people there says that it’s all pretty much the same. The only difference though is I think, the convenience of the boat rental and probably the lunch to be served.
On that same day, after basking under the sun of a huge white sandbar in Carbin Reef, the island hopping continued and ended on the forest beach of Suyac Mangrove Eco Park. It’s just a 10-minute boat ride from the Carbin Reef to the island of Suyac, still situated in Sagay, Negros Occidental.
Sooo, I finally got the chance to take a breather and the province of Negros Occidental is the first place that I was able to visit. Thank God, it’s already summer. Although this was just a side trip, the experience was unbelievably amazing. I wasn’t expecting this trip at all, but I’m sooo happy that I did experience it.
I have a lot of reasons why I love this islet and it’s probably gonna be the same reasons why you want to include this on your next trip. Aside that it’s located on the same place where I was born at, you would surely love its natural beauty and crystal clear water. It has always been this beautiful but I never get to appreciate it before like I do today. Revisiting this place brings a lot of childhood memories and that nostalgic feeling– it’s where me and my family always spent our holidays when I was still a kid &I was pretty surprised that it looks even more stunning.
